raised rear brake caliper bracket Bonneville/Thruxton/Scrambler
Code: MTE082
Brand:
Availability: In stock
rear brake caliper bracket made from a single block of 6061 aluminum and then black anodized. Relocates caliper to over the top of the disc in the 12 o clock position, as opposed to the stock position which is directly under at 6 o clock.
Fitting this bracket has the dual purpose of both reducing the amount of dirt and road debris (therefore damage) that your caliper pick ups. As well it also reduces the maintenance intervals required to keep the caliper/brake setup running smooth and clean.
This clamp bracket is designed to fit the standard Triumph brake hose. Assembly provides for the caliper to be rotated to reassemble it in the other direction with respect to the disc and therefore to the tube. It is possible to do this without opening the circuit but a small purge will likely be required on reassembly. On Scrambler it is necessary to reroute the brake hose differently from the original position
N.B. - The brakes are a critical area of the motorcycle, any modification must be taken care of by qualified personnel.
