YSS Royal Enfield Himalayan/Scram 411 rear suspension

The Himalayan stock shock absorber is prone to lose its effectiveness quite quickly, since new it is set quite hard resulting in bad driving comfort. It is not even adjustable if not only the preload of the spring which frankly has no effect. Here, then, we propose this YSS shock absorber equipped with multiple adjustments as follows:

- spring preload adjustment with micrometric ring nut

- adjustment of the hydraulic extension (the one that matters most) at the base of the foot

- height adjustment useful to change the driving position and the ground height

This shock absorber very positively improves the standard behavior of the bike. It is more comfortable, gives the rider a firmer feel and is safer in use because the nitrogen-supported damping system is very effective. Positive note, in case of need, it is completely revisable unlike the original one where its right place is in the iron bin.
