The airbox restricts airflow to the engine, reducing its performance, the original box contains the air filter and battery, it also incorporates intended fixing points for wiring routing and various electrical relays. It also receives the engine oil breather hose. Its removal therefore requires the repositioning of all the original accessories, which is not always easy.

This kit, used in competitions reserved for the Thruxton Cup EFI bikes, is designed to allow you to do it without having to reinvent everything.

The kit consists of:
- high resistance powder coated aluminum battery box
- K&N oil vapor vent filter
- pair of high efficiency K&N conical filters

The original side covers can be refitted without modifications.

Removing the airbox does not require a map review, the ECU will adjust to the new airflow and the engine will run normally with a slight performance gain and improved sound.

An up-to-date map is recommended to take full advantage of the kit's potential, your Triumph dealer will be able to do this in minutes.
